In 2017 Alina & Jared were expecting their firstborn, baby “J”. These two lovebirds were so excited to get their maternity photos taken at the lovely Hummingbird Springs venue in Donna, TX! Right from the start I knew they were going to be something special. Alina always has a glow about her, especially when she’s with her husband Jared, and I wanted to make sure to capture that for her.
Shooting At Hummingbird Springs
Alina was already around 5 months pregnant, and you could hardly tell! We definitely wanted to make sure that you could see the bump, so we headed to the back of Hummingbird Springs to an open field. It was there where we took some of my favorite shots of her. The field is normally reserved for parking during events such as weddings, but we wanted to use it because it has an obstruction-free view of the sunset. Golden hour shots taken here come out looking simply amazing.
