This January we were so lucky to photograph the wedding of Roxanne & Marcus Flores that took place at the beautiful Valencia Event Center McAllen. We first met Roxanne last year (2017) when she and Marcus were the winners of our very first engagement session giveaway.
Roxanne is a local talk show host who carries that same friendly and high spirited personality everywhere she goes. Her now husband Marcus is a highly motivating personal trainer. We immediately knew they would be the perfect couple for us and they were!
The Valencia Event Center McAllen Ceremony
On top of these two’s great personalities, the Valencia Event Center McAllen and the theme of the wedding was perfect. The wedding was a classy/traditional christian wedding. Its started outside to the sound of a wonderful quartet entrance. Roxanne looked beautiful as she walked down the isle to see her groom. Marcus, holding back the tears stared only at his wife to be. The ceremony was short and sweet, and it kicked off what would be one of the funnest weddings we’ve been to. We then migrated inside to the blasting of trumpets and guitars from a phenomenal Mariachi group. From there, Roxanne and Marcus had their first of many dances for the evening!
Recognition
We always want to give recognition to our photographers, so this event was covered by Stephanie Rios with the exceptional help of Ben Briones. Ben even helped us cover a few extra hours and we loved the work he came up with.
